Instead of doing anything of merit when my job makes me go to Maine for weeks on end, I’m embroidering throw-pillow-cases.
This is Wonder Woman. She’s not done yet. She’s done.

I’m as good at hands as Liefeld is at feet.

And her face looks exactly like Lucy from Peanuts.

(Not that you care about crafts, but she was done on a vintage tea-towel, with wash-out-able fabric pen to lay the reference lines down (aka I traced lol), with various embroidery flosses. Her skin is crayon. It’s some weird technique called linen tinting, or something. Google it, it’s easy.)
I just started one of Martian Manhunter, the one where he’s all half Martian Manhunter, and half John Jones, from New Frontier. This picture is of the first layer, done with that ironing crayons technique, and it was 100% freehanded, which is why it looks really stupid.

Okay, now you can see how fucking awesome it’s going to be when I’m done, which should be soon, barring emergency video game playing.

(Obv references.)

Erin says:
Also I refinished this weird old chair I found in a shed. I don’t *do* anything at my job, you see.
